Let’s see, How can you configure Selenium in Eclipse IDE. It’s easy to download and configure the Selenium WebDriven in Eclipse.
As a prerequisite, you must have installed at least Java JDK 6 (Download Java from here!).
Configure Selenium in Eclipse
There are few standard steps to set up the Selenium Webdriver in Eclipse. Please follow the below-mentioned steps to set up the Selenium WebDriver in Eclipse if already not configured.
1. Launch your Eclipse IDE.
2. Download the Selenium Jar files. Download the latest version of selenium. You can download the Selenium from here.(Download Selenium Jar)
On this page, you will get the download links for many programming languages. We are going to use Selenium with Java so, we will download Java compatible Selenium version.

3. This link will give you a zip folder. Unzip this folder. After unzip open the folder, It will look like this.
4. Keep this folder in your local directory. Now open the Eclipse and right-click on your project and mouse hover on the Project Build Path and click on the Configure build path…
5. Now click on the button “Add External JARs..” and select the jar files to form Selenium directory and lib directory (present inside the selenium directory).
Now click on the OK button, present in the bottom of the page.
Congratulation, you have configured Selenium Webdriver successfully. You can see added Selenium jar files in the Reference Libraries folder in your Project.
We are now ready to start developing and running Selenium Test Cases using Eclipse IDE.
